Tired of election news? Read about St. Paul real estate instead
2016 will be the year of perpetual spring when it comes to measuring home sales. We currently have an absorption rate for homes for sale of 2.6 months. The absorption rate measures how long it would take to sell all of the homes currently on the market in St. Paul at the current rate of home sales

I don't want to play Pokemon go
It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. These days I am acutely aware of the fact that the way some people define fun isn't the same way I define fun. This has always been an issue for me. I missed out on the whole Angry Birds game craze a few years back and it doesn't seem to have ruined my life,

Bring fireworks back to the public in St. Paul.
It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. July 4th used to be fun in the saintly city. We could watch beautiful public firework displays over the Mississippi River or see them exploding over the State Capitol building. These displays were free and open to the public who could easily view them from many

Shutters A couple of days ago I was told that home sellers never pay the buyers closing costs. People gets all sorts of information from friends and family and pass it along to me. When selling a home to first time home buyers it is VERY common for them to ask the seller to pay 3% or so of the

Pending sales are down, the peak was a month ago and now we are headed for the valley. Home sales are strong and the demand is high.
As I mentioned yesterday real estate is seasonal and local. Today we are looking at pending home sales for St. Paul, MN. St. Paul pending home sales The valleys on the graph occur in December or January and the peaks happen in April, May and or June. This year the peak happened in May and since

We have never had a shortage of Realtors® but there are fewer of us than there were back during the peak in 2006. A Realtor® is a member of the National Association of Realtors. The majority of real estate agents in Minnesota are Realtors®, but REALTOR is not a job title, and it isn't

Story
Introduction
I live in St. Paul, Minnesota and I sell real estate, I write on a few blogs and I take pictures, lots of pictures. I guess I try to show people what St. Paul looks like through my eyes. I have a sense of humor, and sometimes it just kind of sneaks out onto the internet and gets me in trouble.
