1st quarter Home Sales St. Paul, MN Yes it is true that home sales in 2015 for the first quarter are up significantly from the first quarter of 2008 which is the year some consider to be the last year before the housing market crash. First quarter home sales were down significantly in 2015 from the

Homes are affordable in the West 7th neighborhood and they have been going up in value. The neighborhood is close to downtown and close to jobs and parks too.
The West 7th neighborhood is sometimes misunderstood and people even get it confused with the West Side. West 7th street is West of Downtown St. Paul and sometimes called the West End. It is a neighborhood that has it all including a wide range of housing styles and prices. You can live in a  69K

A sub neighborhood in St. Paul
There are 17 St. Paul neighborhoods but within each there are sub-neighborhoods. Tangletown is a sub-neighborhood of the Macalester Groveland Neighborhood. There is also a Tangletown neighborhood in Minneapolis but I'll let someone else write about that. The Tangletown neighborhood was recently in

There are some things you need to know about St. Paul if you are moving here. We have our little idiosyncrasies and our big city and small town ways. It doesn't say anything about alleys, trash removal or water in the glossy brochures that organizations like Explore Minnesota and Visit Saint Paul

It is a sellers market and the inventory of homes on the market is still pretty low which means I really have to fine tune my house hunting skills if I want to help my home buyer clients be the first to make an offer on a new listing.  Home buyers can't just wait for an open house they need to be

The spring real estate season is in full swing in St. Paul, MN. Here are some numbers from last month.
These numbers are by St. Paul neighborhood of course. The numbers come from our local MLS which is deemed to have reliable data but the data is not guaranteed.  As near as I can tell at least 95% of the homes that are sold each month in St. Paul are represented in the data from the MLS. Now that I

Introduction
I live in St. Paul, Minnesota and I sell real estate, I write on a few blogs and I take pictures, lots of pictures. I guess I try to show people what St. Paul looks like through my eyes. I have a sense of humor, and sometimes it just kind of sneaks out onto the internet and gets me in trouble.
