How does your brand approach the dreaded bad review?

Is honesty the best policy or do you try and hide / disguise negative comments?

Is it possible to build muscle and run distances? #running   #musclegain
Back in 2009/10, running was everything. Long distance training runs on empty were par for the course and my weight fluctuated around the 11 stone mark. Five years have passed and I'm now at about ...

Transparency and honesty wins out every time. Negative reviews can, potential, be a good thing for businesses as it shares insight on problematic methods/services and can win the trust back of the person who left the negative comment -- as well as trust among your established customers.

If a company hides any negative comments then this can render the relationship amongst present and future customers. Nobody is perfect, neither are businesses. Mistakes will be made and need to be dealt promptly and appropriately, not by hiding them -- that isn't a solution, it just creates more problems.

Instead of trying to hide bad reviews and shy away from them, has anyone tried confronting them head on? After all, honesty is the best policy in the digital age.

I wrote this article with a view towards transparency and wondered how others approached the subject?

Enough with the letters already. Having arranged one booking through this estate agents, I am now constantly bombarded with "waste of time" properties by method of letter in the post. Firstly, we have never sat down to discuss the sort of property that I'm looking for, but you can safely assume that I'm not looking for a converted council house in the rough end of town. Any fool would come to that conclusion after considering the specification of the house that was viewed. Secondly, I emailed to stop this flurry of junk mail arriving, but that didn't help. Today I received three letters, yes three - surely you could have saved a bit on postage and bunged them in one envelope (or better still, read your emails and actioned them rather than sit there looking busy and doing nothing). Thirdly, each time I receive said letters it reminds me of the appalling customer service that I received the first time round. I'm tired of your letters and I reckon the postman must be cursing you too, especially at this busy time of year. I hope that Santa doesn't break his neck tripping on your letters whilst trying to do his rounds, else you'll have more than a frustrated twenty-something on your hands. Good night.
