Please join us for Shabbat morning services today as we celebrate a joyful occasion, the 95th birthday of Mildred Weinberg.
Millie is a pillar of Temple Israel, the greater Scranton Jewish community and the Weinberg family. She's still an active member of our Congregation and frequently can be counted on to make minyan and attend Shabbat services. Millie always has a kind word and a humorous story ready for every occasion. She's a loving mother to her children, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Millie will be honored with an Aliyah at the Torah and feted with a festive Kiddush following the Musaf service.
Please make every effort to join her Temple Israel family and the Weinberg and Nivert families as we celebrate Millie's milestone together!

It's our monthly Birthday Shabbat. Born in August? Then join your friends for Shabbat morning services at Temple Israel and celebrate it. Have an aliyah if you wish, then enjoy a festive birthday kiddish to celebrate after Musaf services. And bring friends and family too.
Birthdays are best celebrated with those close to you, and at Temple Israel!
