Mobile Data usage sounds like fun - telstra must be assisting rapists again to commit acts of sexual assult in reprisal for a minor crime reported by people who never commit any (hows that pick-a-father-anyone-but-the-biological-father-for-centrelink-child-abuse going?Enjoy the threatening of a woman by a 3rd party and do you do that often? you know - assist rapists with ONE video camera that has a pause button for the making of 'RECORDINGS" to be printed out on paper or be relayed by verbal instruction onto another abuser)

Meet Jim, Deputy Mayor of one of Australia's most remote communities, King Island. As the only network service provider on the island, we help people on King Island connect to the world around them. Watch Jim's story below, or read the full story here: http://tel.st/xx8f

This is Brian Mullins. Brian started work as a telegram boy, delivering telegrams by bicycle in South Grafton in 1955.

He was in the last class of the PMG to learn Morse Code, and worked in the Chief Telegraph Office in Sydney.

He retired in 1987, by which time he was working as a public phone inspector.

Brian was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the 2007 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for his service to the community.

I'm really glad I'm using the Telstra mobile network. If it wasn't for Telstra, I wouldn't be getting full bars in my house. I would probably be getting 1-2 bars.
Thanks Telstra!

Last week we shared a photo of block stitching on wire—but what's inside that stitching? This pic shows a close-up of some cut wiring, which was decommissioned from action some time ago. Pretty interesting, isn't it?

Had the same problem with the internet and the computer dropping out when making or receiving a land line call. Pulled the fixed phone out of the wall used my mobile for all calls . The land line used for internet only and does not drop out. Left telstra and went  to DODO great deals on mobile calls (Very Cheap) Hope this helps.

I have a related question.... The emergency number of 112 was always cross-carrier and hard wired to 'just work' from any mobile in any possible condition. In the olden days, this would even override the dead battery auto-shut off etc.

Does 000 do the same as 112 network wise these days? Does it depend on the phone?

I know the call setup is slightly different, but curious about the tech of this...

You can also fix PBL1530832 or I will seek a refund and send information to the authority that the address range is in fact NOT dynamic IP addressed (given you keep serving the same IP addy which is somehow a STATIC IP in that I disconnected and reconnected to get the same addy from DHCP)
