New Chromebook owner here, about two weeks. Love it! So awesome on the road. I rarely boot up my old laptop anymore.
The biggest bonus was that I could plug in my external hard-drive and actually watch all my videos, photos and listen to music. Thus, it doesn't always have to be online!

The reason I ask is that when I do a hotspot with the phone, it drains the battery really bad and also it gets extremely hot. So I've been tethering which also charges the phone at the same time. Also it doesn't get hot either

Hi everyone. Does anyone know of a good website that offers Gimp tutorials? Also, what else does a new Gimp user need to know?

Anyone know when the re-designed Australis look is actually coming? It was supposed to be here many times over!

So I was at the Toronto Zoo today and saw that Mozilla Firefox sponsored the red pandas there, and even donated a habitat. That is awesome. Way to go Firefox.

I love all the Canada clothing and stuffed moose that are made in China almost as much as the traditional native headdress that is made in Bangladesh.

It was unmemorable. The only thing I remember is that I was the only person there. Was disappointed with the beer as well, "Farmery." Waitress said it was made in Manitoba, turns out to be made on contract by Muskoka, which is based out of Ontario.

Not bad. Waitress was friendly, but didn't really know much about the beer on tap or that they had in bottles.

Went for a beverage and found the staff friendly. Didn't eat any food, however, so I can't make a recommendation on that.

It's a Starbucks, so it's pretty much like all the other ones. Kind of small in size. The cream area was dirty, and the cream canisters were all pretty empty -- this at a time when there were no lineups and the place was pretty much "dead." If you're a Starbucks fan, this one will be just like all the rest.
