We are delighted to share the exciting news that +Deeyah Khan's powerful talk at TEDxExeter 2016 is today's featured talk on +TED talks - and the 7th of our talks to be selected for TED.com.
Deeyah's talk - What we don't know about Europe's Muslim kids - is a passionate and moving plea for everyone to care about Europe’s Muslim children.

“Radicalisation is the most pressing problem of our age. Each violent act by extremists creates an increasing cycle of hatred which tears our communities apart. I believe that one of the most effective means of stopping the cycle of violence is through building relationships. This can be difficult when young people feel themselves to be growing up between cultures, and belonging in neither."

This is a fantastic opportunity for Deeyah's ideas to reach a wide audience. Please help us by sharing the video as widely as you can. +Fuuse +Ted Talks

At TEDxExeter this year we are really looking forward to hearing the incredible journey Gill Hayes.

Gill and her family moved to Devon for a better quality of life, but ‘living the dream’ didn’t go quite according to plan when Gill became severely depressed.

By sharing her story of recovery, Gill wishes to spread hope to other people with depression and encourage us to all to play a role in the mental health revolution.
