- My blog (current)
Prior to joining fama PR, I was senior vice president and digital practice leader at Lois Paul and Partners (LPP). My focus was on ensuring the entire agency was equipped to execute programs that integrate social media and digital marketing techniques and technologies into their overall communications programs. I also established, contributed to and served as managing editor for LPP’s own blog, Beyond the Hype, achieving "Top 50 PR & Marketing Blog" recognition by Cision.
I have contributed to BostInno.com, Ragan.com and PR News on social media and have been quoted in other publications including The Firm Voice and PR Week. I also have been a featured speaker at events hosted by The Publicity Club of New England and PR News. In addition, I am a two-time winner of PRSourceCode's Top Tech Communicator Award. This award is based upon a survey of over 500 tech editors and bloggers, who are asked to name their “top” individual PR professional, based on responsiveness, knowledge of the industry, knowledge of the journalist’s individual preferences, and more. In addition, my team won the 2011 Publicity Club of New England's Bell Ringer award for best social media campaign for ThingMagic.
During my career, I have worked with a wide range of large and small companies in several markets, including commercial open source, cloud computing, enterprise software, outsourcing/service provider, and wireless. My clients have included several market leaders, such as Lotus/IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kodak, Freescale Semiconductor, UPS, Sun Microsystems, Wells Fargo and Hitachi Data Systems, as well as rapidly emerging companies such as Actifio, Alfresco Software, Dragon Innovation, Spanning Cloud Apps, and uTest.
I hold a B.A. in economics from the University of New Hampshire.
