Bought a new car last week [hello +Jeep]... had a friendly sales guy but still became a fight by the time I hit finance. The dealer all admits the world has changed, people come in knowing their price, wanting to take a product home, not hassle over one, yet they can't let go of those old ways; anything for a few bucks today, even if it kills reputation for tomorrow.

Maybe some people still want this. I like the car but I see Tesla (and those who follow) as not just winning for their tech but for how you get it.

It's answers like this that keep me coming back to Quora...

Interesting how community dynamic can make a very common internet idea play out to a whole different level.

If you don't follow any of the National Parks on social (Facebook / Twitter specifically), you should... Informative, often user generated, always user involved and a great example developing interest by content.

Of course they have the benefit of being a natural wonder in the first place and while they've really stepped up broadcasting recently, responding is a much more mixed bag... just as it is for many "regular" brands.

It's not really social if it's just about support.

This has been floating around all over today but sharing it again as it's just such a good statement... people, practices, opportunity cost.

Facebook is surveying me about privacy tools, almost like a test. Wonder how many people know vs get vs use them.

Interestingly, I bet this educates more on the option than any FAQ or click-to-skip popup.
