I do get fed up with failing memory cards. It makes me think that inbuilt memory is, after all, the way to go. I've been holding out against that for years, but have to admit, with this week's tinkering with various phones, that maybe they're right.
I guess if you have one phone and one memory card in it for two years which never moves, it'll be fine. But here, I've had memory card after card failing between (particularly) Sony phones and Moto phones, take to PC, format, copy stuff on again, back to where I was.
It's just so tedious. Seems to me that every phone manufacturer has some unique way of working with cards which means that most times when switching between them, I have to wipe and start again.
