I was going to say similar things. Good appraisal.
I find that I, too, don't use the pen much as it can't be saved in editable formats easily and the Windows version, via OneNote gets the silver star for text recognition, there being little to none here - except via MyScript Smart Note in bite size chunks or via Google's handwriting options. The gold star, according to +Andrew M still goes to Apple and the iPad Pro.
But it's enough for me to justify having the Halo keyboard. I love the innovation and you're right, build quality is slick and super. It's wafer-thin and light, with great battery.
Think I'll pick it for the next WW :-)
