This is a very interesting mix of comedy/drama in the style of Sarah Silverman/Miranda Hart. The lead is played by British actor/comedian Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Broadchurch, The Iron Lady, Man Up, Albert Nobbs) supported by Bill Paterson (The Killing Fields, Miss Potter, Dad's Army, Bright Young Things) and Olivia Colman (Broadchurch, The Lobster, Hot Fuzz, The Iron Lady) among others.

It's 6 half-hour episodes which lead the viewer into the life of a young woman living in London trying to navigate her way through the stresses thrown up by love, sex, boyfriends, business, family, lies, stealing, the art world and guinea pigs! It's been adapted by Waller-Bridge's 2013 Edinburgh one-woman play of the same name which won the Fringe First Award.

It's a laugh a minute with tears and shocks along the way. I love the use of the fourth wall which Hart and Silverman do so well for comic effect, emulated excellently by Waller-Bridge here. Thoroughly recommended and if you're quick, it's offer at the Play Store to buy just now, the whole lot for £3.99. Bargain!
