I pulled a sting off my teacher's ear. I use a bee with bad wings for a shoulder sting so I am used to them if I get stung by anything. I usually wear the bee suit for beekeeping. Come on everyone! It's good exercise. Easy enough. Honey is good.

Good luck, Britain, with beekeeping. Colonists didn't take them all to America hundreds of years ago...

He'd love to gloss right over Romney's woefully inadequate understanding.  But I'll be checking for any evidence for Ryan's intelligence.

Teh stoopit, it burnssssss...

Appearing on CBS the next morning, Ryan told host Norah O’Donnell that he couldn’t make sense out of the “horses and bayonets” line.

“To compare modern American battleships with bayonets, I just don’t understand that comparison,” the Wisconsin Republican said. “Look, we have to have a strong Navy to keep peace and prosperity.”

Um...Ryan?  The US has the largest navy in the world by a good margin.

The US has 11 in-service aircraft carriers.  Half of the world's total number of carriers.  The US has over 80% of the world's cruisers.  We have between 35-40% of the world's amphibious assault ships, destroyers, and missile subs.

You have to ask, how much more do we need?  More importantly, how much more can we afford?

Conservatives last ditch effort: FW chain letters that just aren't true.  I googled the opening phrase and got the text which follows Daily Kos' response.  Do they have anything true to say? The sky is blue.  GOP: "no it ain't.  Bible don't say it, so I don't have to believe it."

All of us can avoid CT irradiation: don't pay for the hospitals coronary calcium scanner by getting a stress test on a treadmill instead. I made sure I was OK at 100% heart rate.  At 85% heart rate, cardiologists tell you to stop because it would  have shown ECG changes by then. If you want lung cancer, go get a CT chest. Hospitals are happy about it. They make 30% on cancer. More cancer would be good. Only for hospitals...

Honestly, doctors joked that bad doctors were bad patients, good doctors were good patients.  All the people think all doctors could become bad patients. Oh no! Wait...I thought I've been a good doc and good patient.

Lightning rarely stops moving, most of my pictures of her are blurry.  She's a farm cat from Western Maryland, whose mom was teaching her to hunt even by age 6 weeks.

Romney wants to raise the Titanic and solder it back together: one more ship in his 1916 Navy, the crown jewel of his foreign policy.
