Hope they add some kind of "topics" so you can specify what subjects a post is about. 
Anytime you have self-reporting of problems there is the flip side where a batch of trolls collaborate to shut down voices they don't want to hear. That said, this looks like a cautiously smart way to approach it. We'll see. Twitter has good ways to report & block troublemakers, but they've over automated the process and end up blocking perfectly fine folk. I also see people who are real people and helpful who are noted as "fake" people. Strangeness. Hope Google does better. 
There will be those that misuse it, but overall, it's a very good thing.
