Great article. A crisis many people face in their working lives. Inertia is the easiest path. 
I'm sure CBS has more aggressive tactics in regards to silencing it's subsidiaries than AOL does, so the comparison isn't quite fair. Good article though. 
I used to love CNET, but for a while now, I've noticed that most or all of their reviews, product comparisons (fight), are in a way favoring apple products as if they're marketing them. This is just an observation, I hope I'm wrong.
Good article, but criticising people for not leaving their job in a difficult economic climate is a little mean. It's quite a decision to just leave a stable income, especially if you have a family to provide for, and even more so if you leave for something so trivial.
and i am really disappointed on how C|Net do their product reviews. actually most of the published article of C|Net favors Apple products which for certain I thought, they were paid by that Icompany. so disappointing!
