Almost as puzzling as that Porsche Blackberry.

Even if you make it from swarovski and white gold - RIM is outdated and failing.

Here, make your sub-par phone even more expensive!

Why are they even trying? Who is actually going to buy a BB?? With all the technology and apps out there I think they should invest their time elsewhere.

It never hurts to do it. If they fail at least they know they did something.

I love the "idea' of using open codecs. But do not forsake the existing propritary ones needed for "basic" 21st century operation.
Tizen is vapour-ware. Find a phone or device using it yet. Where is this fantastical, mystical, savour of the mobile world? It will in turn be another MeeGo. Funny thing is, it is backed by serveral MeeGo backers. Dead before it even was adopted.

Support BB if you want future phone to have hardkeys.
Otherwise move along now...

Quitting is not acceptable, BlackBerry is right at making an effort to succeed. Android nor IOS have the answer. BlackBerry should open up to Devs. Android way of OTA sucks, IOS limited customization is a weakness, and Windows have yet to lock in a sector of the market. With all that being said if they can manage to fill in the gap and not have a big Mac Patten suit. they will be in the conversation going forward.
