Seems kind of silly if you ask me, when much of the same is already happening in isolated little towns dominated by large universities.  In fact the Appalachian mountains, from the south all the way to northern New England (yes I know the names for the range changes as you go north), are filled with these kind of little college towns.  I would think that this kind of project could benefit from taking advantage of places where such environments already exist (but might not be maximized) as opposed to starting something from scratch.
I think its wonderful. Good on them. I'd love to go.
