Well thought out piece, Mr. Biggs. "The wall street journal has always been a blog with resources and paper." Good stuff.

I read some of the facebook comments and it sounds like a bunch of know-it-alls hijacked the focus of your article to defend their p.r. job titles...full time job my ass....these people work 4 hours from home and chug down $16 worth of coffee and call it work expenses and a day.

One thing I loved about what you say is that you're focused on the greatest tech, whether p.r. is paying you to cover their products or backwoods joe has a great idea for the home beer brewer.

This attitude should continue, because you guys should consider yourself shepherds of information and not because someone pays you to blast through a videogame in 8 hrs. only so you can have one of the first reviews on the web.
