Caribbean Project CA-01
Located on a private island in the Bahamas, these 8 sided structures with wrap around decks are designed by the Teak Bali design team. As per the owners request, these hardwood structures were to have no interior walls and no windows, just latched Hurricane Shutters. As the client prefers the rustic weathered look, he prefers to not use additional finishing and let the structures age naturally.

Are you looking for optimal cooling strategies for your Eco friendly dwelling? One option to consider are louvre windows from Teak Bali. With the adjustable blades you can control the amount of breeze that flows through your home. For locations that experience favorable wind conditions, having elevated louver windows situated in opposing gables can be advantageous.

Hawaii Project HA-08.

Surrounded by lush rain-forest, a raging river and clear views for as far as the eye can see, this Teak Bali project is located on a stunning 14 acre plot of land about 1,000 feet elevation above the Hamakua Coast. The design concept was created by the owners in conjunction with the Teak Bali design team. Our clients had a clear vision for a large Lanai and a Breezeway down the middle of the structure. The house was designed with the intention to allow the trade winds to cool down the living area naturally without the use of Air-conditioner.

The Teak Bali two-bedroom Yogashala model offers a spacious common area. With multiple sliding doors opening up to the large front deck, this actually creates the possibility of expanding the Great Room. A central corridor leads from the Common area to the back terrace with easy access to the bedrooms and laundry room. Uniformity and balance are the keywords for this attractive design. By creating the loft space overlooking the common area, it is possible to convert or enlarge this 2nd floor space which can easily be converted into a den, hobby room, meditation room or even a 3rd bedroom. This floor plan is truly functional and as with all Teak Bali models, can easily be altered to accommodate different tastes and requirements.

One of Teak Bali's most popular ceiling finish materials is Lampit which is a Rattan based product. While it’s warm beige color contrasts nicely with our darker hardwood rafters, Lampit provides the relaxed tropical atmosphere many of our clients are looking for. For those looking for a cost-saving ceiling solution, Lampit is ideal and matches perfectly with our Sustainable Hardwood Homes.

The world has been captivated by the volcanic developments on Bali since November 2017. Smaller eruptions and the wait for the big bang is still the talk of the day. For those who are as fascinated with the Bali Volcano as we are, we have written a blog describing the existing status of Mount Agung including current and ongoing relief efforts.

The Babaji is one of Teak Bali’s more playful Hardwood home designs. We have created a 12 sided structure with plenty of large windows to allow for natural light flow whilst also providing the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of your surroundings. Even though the footprint of this Teak Bali model is on the small side, the floorplan offers plenty of room for a kitchenette, bathroom and a closet. With a geometrically charming roof design and a user-friendly layout, this tropical floorplan is perfect for those planning to build a guest cottage.
