Your brand is much more than your logo or tagline -- it's your reputation and the feelings you create in others.

If you aren't consistent with how you present yourself, that reputation and those feelings will likely be all over the board, resulting in big time confusion.

One of the biggest reasons this happens for solopreneurs is they're UNCLEAR themselves about who they are, who they serve, and what makes them unique.

If this has been issue for you, you're invited to join us for the 100% Zero Sales Pitch Brunch & Learn.

NOTE: Attendance is Free and open to the public, but only at the live event. The recording is reserved for Digital Dining Room members only. Learn more at: http://digitaldiningroom.com
This Hangout On Air is hosted by Tea Silvestre. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

Bingo! "Because it sounds good in a tweet" sounds pretty darn self-serving to me. :(

Feeling down that you couldn't afford Bleep School?

Guess what? There's a fabulous alternative: Story Bistro's Digital Dining Room.

The DDR keeps it affordable by avoiding high-priced Hollywood production values and ginormous affiliate payouts.

The DDR facilitates deeper connections with your cohorts and gives you high quality, high touch attention from your coach & mentor by limiting the size of the group (there are just TWO open VIP seats right now).

You learn all the same things that you'd learn at Bleep School, but with an emphasis that allows you and your strengths to lead the way.

+ Customized help with your marketing plans? Check.
+ Year-round support and guidance? Check.
+ Opportunities to mastermind, partner, and refer business? Check, check, and check.

Learn more and read the testimonials at http://digitaldiningroom.com (Prices increase April 1st.)

Post your prices or no? +Melanie Kissell has some words of wisdom for you.

Pricing on your website.... good or bad? If you sell a product, sure, but what if you're in the tricker service industry? Will posting pricing ward off the tire kickers?

It's worth considering, so check out +Melanie Kissell's take on it.
It's your business and your decision. When it comes to setting prices, you're on your own.

It's a no-brainer and a given to post the cost of products. Imagine walking down the aisles of a grocery store without a clue as to price and getting to the checkout line to find that steak you put in your basket is going to break the bank. It just makes sense for product and program creators to spill the [price] beans.

Service business owners? Uh ... that's a different story and bigger challenge. I think it all boils down to personal preference and maybe even a little experimentation and testing. :)

Pricing your products and services according to myths? Hmmm. Maybe you should read what +Nicole Fende has to say on the topic.

I love and appreciate how +Nicole Fende gets right to the nitty gritty. She's doing some major myth busting in this one! A plan to sell in "volume" isn't such a great idea and offering freebies sets up the wrong mindset in prospective clients/customers. Give them a bunch of free stuff and they'll come to expect everything for free. You know, human nature.

Don't just throw marketing spaghetti at the wall. Devise an experiment and document your results. You'll be much better able to make solid choices about how and where to spend your time and money promoting your business. (Great job, +Sharon Hurley Hall!)
How can you get more from your LinkedIn presence? Sharon Hurley Hall shares her findings, based on a 10-day LinkedIn experiment.

I hosted an intimate business conference at Opal 28 this past weekend (20ish people) and everyone LOVED the space. We had workshops, yoga stretches and even cooked and ate dinner together. It was fabulous having full run of the place with some minimal supervision from the staff. Margot and her team were fabulous to work with and I'll definitely be back again next year.

Every time I go here the food is always hot and fresh. The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars is that they're often so busy, that you have to wait a bit longer than you might like to.

Came here for a biz meeting and had breakfast: the salmon omelet (fluffier than I expected!) with spinach and feta. Raspberry compote (made in-house) on buttered wheat toast. Ordered an Americano to go with. Every single thing was absolutely delish. Our waitress was extremely helpful and friendly, too. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I've only been there once. Plus, we all have room for improvement somewhere, right?

Great atmosphere and loved my Kale Caesar Salad. I didn't get to taste any of the yummy pork offerings tho due to hiccup with my gall bladder, but my dining buddies raved about theirs. Definitely going back when I feel better.
