Today, the Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh) is a significant force among children’s aid organisations in Switzerland and throughout the world. It is the largest non-governmental organisation (NGO) for children’s aid in Switzerland. Tdh has development projects and emergency relief programmes in more than 30 countries.

Tdh's orange sale🍊 will take place next Friday and Saturday throughout Switzerland. This year, about 1500 volunteers - at more than 230 stalls - are expected at the largest humanitarian street event nationwide. Buy one or more oranges and support our health projects for children.

Fridaysmile alert! At 20 months, Deepa weighed only 6.3kg. Average weight for this age is 11kg.

Deepa came to the attention of our social workers when she was examined at a growth monitoring session held for children in her community. In addition to advice on good hygiene practices, her parents received financial assistance so they could bring Deepa to the nearest nutritional rehabilitation centre for treatment.

Today, 18 months later, Deepa is a bright, bubbly little girl and weighs 8.2 kg! Read more about her story.

It is unacceptable to leave children without proper assistance and protection – even when they stay outside of the official facilities!

In Belgrade City, we have set up a dedicated space for children and mothers where we organise recreational activities for children, offer emergency counseling and legal advice to anyone who needs it, and distribute basic necessities including hygiene and baby items.
