Light rain is pushing in from the Gulf and heading east, and will last through the afternoon, News Channel 8 meteorologist Leigh Spann said.
The front will pass the immediate Tampa Bay area around 3 p.m, and push south and east, producing spotty showers and cloudy skies tonight.
Highs today will reach the upper-70s, with lows in the low-50s.
A second cold front, which will dip from the north on Thursday, will keep highs in the low- to mid-60s but under sunny skies, with chilly lows in the low- to mid-40s on Thursday night. #tampabayweather
