Don't think I shared this, but Huawei released the Phone Clone app to help with transferring your old phone's data to a new phone. Check it out and let me know if you have any feedback.

"There is simply no U.S. equivalent of WeChat."
When I was in China last month, I went out to eat with several friends. When it came time to pay the bill, I started calculating who owed what. Laughing at me, my Chinese friends whipped out WeChat Wallet, which has a button called “Go Dutch.” Once you put in the amount of the bill and the ...

With a new glass-backed design, dual cameras and Huawei's top internals, the Honor 8 looks like being a serious competitor for the likes of OnePlus.

"The FCC today put the U.S. in a 5G leadership position."
In one fell swoop, the FCC today put the U.S. in a 5G leadership position, voting 5-0 to approve its Spectrum Frontiers proceeding to make spectrum bands above 24 GHz available for 5G.

I can think of Asus, HTC, and Google that update their pre-installed launcher through the Google Play Store. Can anyone provide other examples of OEMs that also update their home screen launcher through the Play Store?
Upgrade the launcher on your Android device for a fast, clean home screen that puts Google Now just a swipe away.Available on all devices with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or higher.Key features:• Swipe right from your Home screen to see Google Now cards that bring you just the right information, at just the right time. • Quick access to Search from every Home screen. • Say “Ok Google” to search with your voice, or tell your phone what to do: send a ...

For ones which are inaccessible the APKs are mostly on APK Mirror and/or XDA but usually if they are not accessible it is because they are hidden due to the OEMs framework dependency and so installing the APK won't work at all or if it does it has bugs etc. Nokia's, HTC's (if in beta) and Asus's can all be installed on devices by other OEMs though.
