This summer, one small robot should have had a big adventure. It’s my sad duty to report that the United States adventures of hitchBOT, the Canadian hitchhiking robot, have come to an untimely end, two weeks after setting off for a final destination of San Francisco, California.
The internet-naming powers that be (otherwise known as ICANN) have already blessed us with such distinguished, venerated domains as .WANG, .SEXY, and .FISH. But now, it's gearing up to grant us with every diligent #Brand's worst nightmare: Welcome to the .SUCKS era.
Rooms were pretty sparse. I was surprised that the maid service did not make the bed, or clean the room during the day, only replaced the towels. The meeting rooms were nice, however. And the front desk staff was helpful, even though the business center had no internet, or printer.
I was very impressed with the sales department, and my Client Advisor, Lee Schel. He helped me find the right car for me, and did not pressure or try to up-sell me at all. He let me take my time, answered all my questions, and let me test drive the car in the type of driving style I needed to make a proper decision. I will return to Peterson for my next vehicle for sure.
Classic diner. Good food. It has a cool all shared counter approach at seating which is kind of unique in the Northwest. Basically the bar snakes around the restaurant so there is no other type of seating. This is a great place for a date, but also great to go solo and have a chance at engaging in conversation.
I proposed to my fiance'e at Jakes. This place has amazing food, a classic atmosphere, and superb service. It is a bit busy most of the time, but the service is excellent, and the food is worth the wait in line.
