TANYA BASTIANICH MANUALI- Tanya received her PhD in Renaissance art history from Oxford University. In 1996 she started Esperienze Italiane, a travel company that arranges food, wine, and art tours to Italy. She also coauthors cookbooks with her mother, Lidia; manages Lidia's product line; and serves as the cultural and art consultant for the art series. She lives on Long Island, New York.

SARAH DiGREGORIO - Sarah is the food editor at Parade and dash magazines. She attended Brown University and then the New School of Cooking in Los Angeles, where she tried to eat her way through the city by following the writings of Jonathan Gold. She's been writing about food and recipes since 2003, and her work has appeared in Parade, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Village Voice, Saveur, and Food Network Magazine, among others. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, dog, and cat, who make her laugh every day. 

JILL WENDHOLT SILVA - Jill is the James Beard award-winning food editor, restaurant critic and blog curator for The Kansas City Star. She has won more than 25 national food writing awards and her work has been featured in Best Food Writing 2008 and 2011.

GRETCHEN McKAY - Gretchen is not a professional cook, but she loves exploring Pittsburgh's many culinary treasures and testing recipes for her (count 'em) five children from the countless cookbooks that cross her desk as a food writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. A graduate of Penn State University, her work has several national awards from the Association of Food Journalists.
