Myself Belts Review - this is one of the many useful products featured on Shark Tank this year. Daymond John ended up backing this particular one and sent a sample over to me after I met him in Vegas earlier this year. Owner and Creator Talia Goldfarb made something so simple extremely functional for younger kids and ones with autism as well.

Wonder if I can find a fashionable easy-access belt for myself. Isn't this cool?

Explored Georgetown for Father's Day weekend and hung out at the Avenue Suites D.C. Apartment-style hotel rooms make this hotel a great choice for families. Read the post about our experience.
The summer is in full swing which means it’s prime season for family travel and for us, that means a staycation at the Avenue Suites DC.

Boating is a great alternative to big-ticket travel. Did you know that owning a boat can be as affordable as taking an annual family theme park vacation. Go figure! #discoverboating #spon
Living near Annapolis, you discover boating joys quickly. It’s hard not to crave being on the water on a boat, especially once the weather is warm.

Organic through and through. Had dinner here several times and it's always a memorable experience. Had the diver scallops on more than one occasion and it's always simply done but flavorful and melt in your mouth delicious. Served on a bed of mixed organic greens with a light homemade dressing and it's the perfect summer dish. Bread, soft, organic, and delicious. You name it, it's organic even down to the drinks! You'll never look at ordinary cocktails the same. You can go for a glass of organic wine as well just to keep the experience consistent. If you get a chance to meet the owner Dimitris you are no for a treat. He's gracious, down-to-earth and will do anything to make your experience pleasurable.

My very first time at a Peets Coffee was 15 years ago when I lived in LA. It was my morning go-to and it was awesome!! The people were friendly and cared that my coffee was satisfactory. Ordered a caramel macchiato and a soy mocha and was so disappointed. My husband turned his nose up to the macchiato (couldn't taste the caramel) and neither could I for the mocha. I know all coffee shops aren't the same but I didn't expect this caliber of uncaring sloppiness from a Peet's! I will remember this location as I will never stop here again!

I stayed at the Avenue Suites DC and these came as a part of the summer family package. 4 sizeable chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches were in our freezer when we arrived. I am ruined! I will not get a cookie ice cream sandwich from anywhere else going forward. The chocolate chip cookies tasted like a batch I would've cooked in my own kitchen and the vanilla ice cream was refreshingly flavorful where I could actually taste the vanilla bean instead of a bunch of artificial flavoring. Forget cupcakes! This is a must-do if you're in the Georgetown/Foggy Bottom area with the family. I'm only sorry that I didn't go into the store and try some of the other combos but then again, classic is always a sure bet.

Pretty good sushi. Average sized rolls. Very colorful inside. Loved sitting by the window. I've had better spider rolls but really liked the crunchy shrimp tempura and spicy scallop roll a lot. Nice staff as well, and good location. I'd return.

Very spacious rooms for families coupled with a fully functional kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher). Stayed here for a weekend (June 2015) and couldn't have asked for a better location and friendlier staff. Loved the photos of Hollywood icons that decorated the lobby, hallways, and room walls. 4 out of 5 stars because only one elevator (out of two) was working; breakfast offerings are very slim for the price and not family-friendly style of breakfast.

Below average Indian food compares to other really good spots in NY --- and for the price of their "box". I got a chicken box with a smidgen of chicken, lots of potatoes, mixed veggies and rice. Nothing spectacular at all. Food is served from burners but nothing is terribly hot just warm. Meh! Samosa was also underwhelming and should be served piping hot and not from burners so that it can be enjoyed crispy.

Cupcakes are okay. Tried the peanut butter and red velvet since worker said they're the best sellers. Icing on PB cupcake is very sweet; cake part could be moister and more flavorful. Priced at $2.50 each but they're your average homemade cupcake size. I think $2 is more reasonable but the prime location on Main Street makes that almost impossible for them to be that cheap so I understand.
