Hey, +Ubuntu can you check your IPv6 routing? I've had apt hang trying to connect to security.ubuntu.com for several days now:
[Connecting to security.ubuntu.com (2001:67c:1562::16)]
so you might want to check it out before we sic +Kevin Otte on you.

I ended up switching over to TWC native so I'm able to get through again. You might want to open a ticket with ipv6@he.net and have them prod Canonical since they seem to be ignoring end user reports.

Oh, I'm not one with the twits so I missed it.
With +Benjamin Reed I added:
Acquire::ForceIPv4 "true";
to my apt configuration and the problem goes bye bye.
You have native IPv6 with TWC? We use them so I need to ask if that is available. At the office and home we still tunnel through HE.Jan 21, 2015
As long as your modem and router support it, you should be able to configure WAN for DHCPv6-PD and go to town.Jan 21, 2015
+Kevin Otte I'll add it to the list. We use a Juniper SRX and I'm not the best guy when it comes to JunOS, but I'm the best we have. We're Business Class on the SONET ring and not coax so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Just wrote out account manager to find out.Jan 21, 2015
