Today on The Daily Grind I talk about the English language in role play and how those who have learned English as a second or third language can find role play partners on US-based World of Warcraft role play servers.

In addition, I also talk about how each role player may have their own perceptions, thoughts, and opinions on what is an acceptable level of writing "ability" for the people who they choose to surround themselves with and that this is a very subjective and personal decision for everyone.

Although spelling and grammar are important in creative writing (and any writing project or collaboration in general), this is also a learning process for everyone and we all need practice to become better at what we do regardless of what it is that we are doing.

I hope that you are all having a great week so far!

As always, be safe, wherever you may be in the world.

Even though I shall be flying back from Blizzcon today, I still managed to pre-record an episode of The Daily Grind for all of you to consume!

Today I discuss an important topic and one that is at the very core of this channel, my passion for writing and gaming, and the reason why I sit down each week and record a podcast and publish YouTube videos during my free time: role play.

We all have various reasons for doing the things that we do in life. We all have reasons for loving the things that we love. Today, I talk about my own personal experiences with role play in World of Warcraft and beyond and tell you why I simply love being in this community and sharing with you everything that I do.

I also ask you to share your own experiences with role play and creative writing and to tell me why you got into role play, why you stayed around, and what really makes you smile about role play.

This series is just as much about you and your stories as it is about my own. Let us know what you love about role play and why it means so much to you.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is off to an amazing start this week! I will be home tomorrow and ready to continue this live series fresh and ready as we move forward.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and met us at Blizzcon and Con Before the Storm. You are amazing people and I love you all very much. Please continue to be the awesome personalities that you have always been and of course, stay safe out there!

The second day of Blizzcon was just as fun as the first day!

Join us as we continue our adventures through Blizzcon and the Anaheim area. From Kravoc delivering his performance in the final round of the voice actor competition to panels, discussions, fun people, cos players, information, merchandise, and more, I try to capture it all on film and deliver it to you wonderful people.

Although Blizzcon is already over, I cannot thank everyone enough for coming out and supporting us and showing us an amazing time. Blizzard certainly knows how to throw a party, and I am already counting down the days until next year's event!

I hope that all of you had a wonderful Blizzcon weekend, whether by virtual ticket or here in person. Please do take care and get home safely. Thank you for being polite, fun, and professional throughout the convention and I cannot wait to share all of my stories with you when I return home.

As always, I love you guys and of course, be safe wherever you may be in the world.

Day One of Blizzcon 2015!

Today I bring you all of the action from the first day at Blizzcon, from the reactions and crowd after the opening ceremonies and cinematics to as many of the venues, booths, and displays as I can possibly fit into one video!

There is so much amazing stuff here to talk about and to discuss, from the Legion expansion in World of Warcraft to the Starcraft II World Championships and Overwatch!

I also attempt to show you all the parties, people, and events that go on after Blizzcon winds down for the day, including some other podcasters, YouTubers, and personalities from the gaming community!

It's a wall-to-wall adventure, but one that I would never want to miss.

I hope that you are all having a great weekend and enjoying Blizzcon (including on the virtual ticket)!

Thank you as always for the love and support and take care out there!

Be safe and I'll see you tomorrow!

Even though I am currently enjoying the sights, sounds, and experiences that are Blizzcon, I did manage to pre-record an episode of The Daily Grind for today!

Today, I discuss my thoughts on the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft, Legion. I give you my take on what I think will happen to our characters, the Azerothian timeline, and how I believe we will be inching closer to Sargeras and the end game of end games. I also give my take on how Warlords of Draenor will end and what all the upcoming changes mean for us as role players and members of the Warcraft community in general.

I hope that many of my predictions and anticipations for the future are at least somewhere in the realm of being correct. Today, in real time, I shall find out at Blizzcon (I hope at least).

Be sure to check out my video blogs for all my adventures at Blizzcon and in and around the Anaheim area.

Thank you to everyone who showed up at the LFRP Podcast and YouTube fan meetup and who supported us at Con Before the Storm. You guys are awesome and we wouldn't be here without you!

I hope that you all had a great week! Have a great weekend and stay safe out there!

I met Chris Metzen!

Also, today I continue my Blizzcon video blog series as we make our way through the second day here in Anaheim, California.

Join me as we pick up our tickets to Blizzcon, meet a certain Kravoc the Deadshot, find lots and lots of food and drinks, prepare for Con Before the Storm, run into Chris Metzen and vlog with him for a few seconds, perform for the masses during the evening, and scope out the Hilton Anaheim and some awesome parties!

I cannot thank everyone here enough for the love, support, and kindness you have shown us here at Blizzcon so far. The convention has not even began yet but you are all so excited, happy, and friendly. Thank you for that and thank you for supporting our performance and podcast throughout the past eighteen months.

I hope that all of you are having an awesome week out there and I hope you get to see everything that Blizzcon has to offer via the virtual ticket if you cannot make it in person!

Stay safe out there and thank you again for all the love and support! It means the world to me.

Take care!

Even though I am at Blizzcon this week I still remembered to pre-record an episode of The Daily Grind for today!

Today I discuss how to best use pets and mounts in role play. I talk about how to write backstories for your pets and mounts and how to best incorporate pets and mounts into your character's story as well.

Creating an IC history for a pet or mount that you acquired OOCly can be quite fun! The same can be said for creating a dynamic relationship between your character and an animal, creature, pet or mount. These relationships can really connect you and your characters with your viewing or reading audience and add immersion and depth to your stories.

I hope everyone is doing great this week! One more day until Friday!

Be sure to check Turwinkle and me out tonight at Con Before the Storm where we will be performing at The Forum at 10:10 p.m. at the Hilton Anaheim!

Check out the video links and description for more information!

Also, Blizzcon officially starts tomorrow! Get excited!

Even though I am flying out to Blizzcon today, I still remembered to pre-record an episode of The Daily Grind!

Today I discuss getting involved with your server and the community at large and how to balance your personal wants, interests, and needs with attempting to branch out and interact with other guilds, players, characters, and people in the virtual universe.

I also discuss what server politics can feel like and how to maintain your own healthy balance in life and role play as situations become emotional and people/players/characters/guilds have IC or OOC conflicts with one another.

I hope that everyone is having a great week so far. I am very much looking forward to seeing many of you at Blizzcon in Anaheim this weekend!

Also, be sure to check Turwinkle and me out at Con Before the Storm on Thursday at 10:10 p.m. at the Hilton Anaheim! More information can be found in the video links and description!

Today on The Daily Grind I talk about character death in role play. From how to take ownership of your character and their actions and story to balancing the interests and feelings of those you are collaborating with, I try to cover this complex subject as best as possible.

Remember, you are always the owner of your character and their story. Also remember that communication is paramount in a any collaborative effort, especially when in role play groups and communities. Be respectful, open and honest about your feelings, even when they change or shift from your original thoughts.

Simple communication and polite but firm expression of your wants and needs will always lead to a better tomorrow, even if it creates an awkward situation in the moment.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful week so far! Please be sure to check me and Turwinkle out at the LFRP Podcast meetup, Con Before the Storm, and Blizzcon!

More information can be found in the informational section and description of this and my other recent videos and at http://www.lookingforroleplay.com.

Thank you for sticking with this endeavor and my other videos and I hope you all have a great rest of the week.

I'll think of you all when flying over this grand country tomorrow morning. As always, please be safe wherever you may be in the world!
