I have no doubt people have placed Linux on a Surface, but I doubt any reporter had done so since you have to use a USB for wifi support (at least that is what the article said). Even if you did want to walk around with a linux surface with a USB adapter dragging along with you all the time, the hardware is microsoft's also.Jan 24, 2015
