My brother moved schools at age 13 and his male friendships never really recovered.

Ugh - depressing with a move pending, and three teenagers. :(

They haven't posted the audio to the NPR blanket story yet, but the pics alone make me weepy.
In hospitals across the U.S,, newborn babies are swaddled in the same pink-and-blue-striped flannel blanket at birth. We asked you for photos of your babies in this blanket and received an amazing res...

Fascinating interview with photojournalist who documents birth. I had fairly detailed photos taken of my first birth, but didn't know what to do with them after. I put them on a CD for my daughters to view when they are older. http://www.npr.org/blogs/babyproject/2011/07/21/138547437/documenting-birth-a-photographers-perspective

Amen. Let the kids play. As my husband would say: "What's the worst that can happen? A broken bone?" http://nyti.ms/nbTTrs
Efforts to regulate playground equipment to prevent injuries may stunt emotional development, a new study suggests.

If we survive age 4, it will because of these pink ear plugs. At Lady Longhorns game!

Meanwhile she is not only beautiful but man there's a lot of personality, fire pizzazz, curiosity and un in that face! I just saw that picture and thought: That kid would be fun to talk to.

Wow. I agree with those wondering why she doesn't just homeschool. Might as well!

This study totally jibes with my experience as a working mom. The first 3 months back at work were hell on earth, but once I figured out my new normal it got much easier. Now with a 2 and 4 year old, I wouldn't have it any other way... except maybe a work day that ended at 3 and work the rest from home.

I may not be a millennial, but I act like one. Family's total phone minutes for the month 125 minutes. That's with no land line.
