Just posted a round-up from last weekend's Renegade Craft Fair Mini Market in Portland. Enjoy!
I just got back from the Renegade Craft Fair Mini Market. Here are a few of our favorite artists and items from the fair.

The Tara Show returns!

Episode #3 is entitled Piper’s Dad after the poem that our newest contributor, Chris Anderson, wrote and shared. The conversation is deep—about writing, poetry, prayer, death and dying, and, most importantly, love. I loaded the track yesterday morning and it’s already gotten over 100 listens! I am so grateful! If you would be so kind, please give it a listen, provide feedback or comments (online if you’re willing), and promote the episode to your networks as you feel appropriate.

A while back, we talked about tools for task management by teams. Here's a post I wrote for Twoodoo--a promising new task management tool. Enjoy!

All of us at Twoodo are DELIGHTED for the guest post from +Tara Rodden Robinson. A thoroughly enjoyable read, and a unique perspective (I had never even thought of how my own product forces the user to be the organizer of the message - mind blown). We are SO thankful for the time and effort put in. #guestpost   #blogging

If you're interested in the backstory of my TEDx, here it is. Enjoy!
OK, so yesterday, I took a deep breath and shared the video of my TEDx talk. One of my friends on Facebook (she's a former client, actually) watched the talk and wrote, “Fabulous! You're so cute and endearing when you're nervous. Well done!” Ah yes, I was nervous. Very, very.

New blog post. Enjoy!
Every year, about this time, I select a set of words to represent my intentions for the next twelve months. Last year, I chose three: sufficiency, service, and invitation. Before I leave this year behind and select a new set of intention words, I wanted to share how navigating a year by these three words affected me.

A very insightful piece!

Here are some insightful reasons to value women in leadership roles
It’s impossible to respect, value and admire great leadership if you can’t identify what makes a leader great. Because of this, the identity crisis I have written about that exists in today’s workplace is something that women leaders in particular have been facing for much too long. While the tide is changing and more women are being elevated into leadership roles, there is still much work to do. As of July 2013, there were only 19 female elect...

I penned a new (and very pretty!) manifesto on reliability, the human dimension of productivity. Enjoy!
In a couple of weeks, I'll have the pleasure of presenting a workshop at my favorite conference of the year. As I was preparing for my presentation, entitled Reliability: The Human Dimension of Productivity, I penned an all new Manifesto as a handout for the occasion. And here it is!

What a wonderful treasure on the Oregon coast! The Sitka Center is not only beautiful, but also a hive of creativity and wonder. I've taken two workshops at Sitka so far and eagerly anticipate next year's catalog. The offerings are incredibly diverse and the setting is magnificent. If you love beauty and appreciate nature, find a class and sign up! You won't regret it. (If you need accommodations nearby, there are many condos listed in the back of the catalog, most within walking distance.)

I attended Mass at Prince of Peace while vacationing in Albuquerque. I liked how the celebrant explained the readings and put the scripture in context. The homily was thoughtful, relevant, and inspiring. I will definitely return to attend Mass here again the next time I'm in town.

I enjoyed my visit to this local art supply store. Great to support a locally owned business rather than a chain! Interesting selection and friendly staff.

I took a class in mosaic design from Rachel Rodi. What a terrific experience! Rachel was a great teacher: thoughtful, encouraging, clear, well-prepared. I feel so much more confident in my ability to bring my (many) ideas to life. I enjoyed the store, seeing the many finished works on display, and chatting with Ilse. I loved my visit and look forward to returning! Highly recommended.

Wow! Terrific food! I'm both vegetarian and gluten-free; I was able to find several items on the menu that fit my needs. Yummy!
