New blog post. Enjoy!
Every year, about this time, I select a set of words to represent my intentions for the next twelve months. Last year, I chose three: sufficiency, service, and invitation. Before I leave this year behind and select a new set of intention words, I wanted to share how navigating a year by these three words affected me.

A while back, we talked about tools for task management by teams. Here's a post I wrote for Twoodoo--a promising new task management tool. Enjoy!

All of us at Twoodo are DELIGHTED for the guest post from +Tara Rodden Robinson. A thoroughly enjoyable read, and a unique perspective (I had never even thought of how my own product forces the user to be the organizer of the message - mind blown). We are SO thankful for the time and effort put in. #guestpost   #blogging

The Tara Show returns!

Episode #3 is entitled Piper’s Dad after the poem that our newest contributor, Chris Anderson, wrote and shared. The conversation is deep—about writing, poetry, prayer, death and dying, and, most importantly, love. I loaded the track yesterday morning and it’s already gotten over 100 listens! I am so grateful! If you would be so kind, please give it a listen, provide feedback or comments (online if you’re willing), and promote the episode to your networks as you feel appropriate.

A very insightful piece!

Here are some insightful reasons to value women in leadership roles
It’s impossible to respect, value and admire great leadership if you can’t identify what makes a leader great. Because of this, the identity crisis I have written about that exists in today’s workplace is something that women leaders in particular have been facing for much too long. While the tide is changing and more women are being elevated into leadership roles, there is still much work to do. As of July 2013, there were only 19 female elect...

I penned a new (and very pretty!) manifesto on reliability, the human dimension of productivity. Enjoy!
In a couple of weeks, I'll have the pleasure of presenting a workshop at my favorite conference of the year. As I was preparing for my presentation, entitled Reliability: The Human Dimension of Productivity, I penned an all new Manifesto as a handout for the occasion. And here it is!

A lovely post by my friend Ester. Includes a sweet mention of the #GTD Virtual Study Group, too!
13 Weeks ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter. Only one thing changed: everything. This is my first post a.b. (after baby) and I'm excited pick up my proverbial pen again. I tried my hand ...

I took a class in mosaic design from Rachel Rodi. What a terrific experience! Rachel was a great teacher: thoughtful, encouraging, clear, well-prepared. I feel so much more confident in my ability to bring my (many) ideas to life. I enjoyed the store, seeing the many finished works on display, and chatting with Ilse. I loved my visit and look forward to returning! Highly recommended.

I attended Mass at Prince of Peace while vacationing in Albuquerque. I liked how the celebrant explained the readings and put the scripture in context. The homily was thoughtful, relevant, and inspiring. I will definitely return to attend Mass here again the next time I'm in town.

I enjoyed my visit to this local art supply store. Great to support a locally owned business rather than a chain! Interesting selection and friendly staff.

Words are inadequate to express how much I enjoyed my stay at Murphin Ridge Inn. I spent three nights there conducting a retreat for a group of long-time clients. From start to finish, everything about our retreat was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and responsive. The food was exquisite. The room and grounds were lovely, peaceful, tranquil. Here are just a few of the reasons I would give Murphin Ridge dozens of stars beyond the five I've already awarded them: • They went out of their way to meet my dietary needs. I am both vegetarian and gluten-free; every meal was prepared with those requirements in mind. I never, ever, felt deprived in any way. • The owners are top-notch. They deliver personalized hospitality with grace and warmth. • The staff was flexible and responsive. Every request was greeted with a smile. When we made changes, they rolled with them. • Sitting by the fire pit, sipping wine, watching fireflies, and eating s'mores was a little glimpse of heaven. If you are considering Murphin Ridge for your event, you'll be delighted. Karen, the events coordinator, helped with our planning and made sure everything was prepared for us. I give Murphin Ridge my highest, sincere and heartfelt recommendation!

Great service by an honest, caring person! John did a great job on our carpets. We have two big dogs so our carpets were really dirty. When he was done, all the stains were gone and our house smells nice. Very thorough, thoughtful, and personable. I feel great about recommending White Glove to anyone who needs their carpets cleaned.
