Platy Fry! My yellow twin-bar platy had a baby last night. It was hard to get a decent photo though, since the fry is so small and (wisely) hiding in plants. I had a pregnant red platy before, but she and / or the other fish ate the fry before I ever saw them.
Yup, crushed pellets or flakes would work perfectly fine for live bearer fries as they are not fussy eaters. If you really want them to grow then think about getting a microworm culture, these are tiny worms perfect for small fish fry, and are also easy to keep
