Author Marketing Peeps...How Mary Kay Launched A Million Person Street Team

http://marketingartfully.com/2015/05/21/how-mary-kay-launched-a-million-person-street-team/

While there are lots of uses for this technique (non profits, associations, politicians, etc.) mostly I am talking to you, my dear Authors! It is always a great idea to see what national companies with huge budgets are doing and how they are rolling out campaigns that we could copy.

There IS A Right And Wrong Way To Do Influencer Marketing

http://marketingartfully.com/2015/05/19/right-wrong-influencer-marketing/

If you haven’t heard, there is a name for all the stalking that I do, “Influencer Marketing”. Basically this is when you find someone that you could contact who could help move your business along in good direction if you could just get them to notice you!

It is the exact opposite doing authority marketing where YOU want to be the interesting one. Instead it is about looking up to the people who are where you want to be.

So You Want To Sell To Realtors…Get In Line!

http://marketingartfully.com/2015/05/12/so-you-want-to-sell-to-realtors-get-in-line/

There are hundreds of types of businesses who want to sell to Realtors. Some of them are GREAT and really would provide a value and some are just trying to pick “low hanging fruit”. Your success with converting this coveted profession will probably depend on your motivation and how much value you can provide them!

Why Social Media Is Not Working – Picking A Social Media Strategy

http://marketingartfully.com/2015/05/04/why-social-media-is-not-working/

Lately a friend of mine who is a BIG influencer has been on a tear about social media. He is glum that his hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter are not helpful and that he is basically turning turtle and severely limiting all his social networks to a very minimal amount of outward connections (lots of people follow him though).

I can sort of understand this. I have shunned LinkedIn for years since I messed up early on and can’t connect with anyone I really like anymore. It is just a place where people send me spam emails and I see only jobs and recruiter posts. That said, my marketing besty swears by LinkedIn and says hers is totally different and interesting.

As I do some social media, there are some ridiculous questions that I get all the time…

They Like You, They Really Really Like You!

http://marketingartfully.com/2015/05/05/they-like-you-they-really-really-like-you/

Have you ever stumbled across someone on a Podcast, on their website or at an event and just totally became enamored of them? You heard them speak, saw them on a video or read their book and BAM it hit you, I totally dig them!

THAT is what everyone talks about when they say you need 1,000 True Fans! You need to make sure that the people who need your message can find you and that you are providing content, coaching and courses that will help them!

The entire process with Dr. Fix It was great. From the first call everyone was super friendly and helpful. Drilon (our technician) was polite and really knew his stuff, going above and beyond to try and fix everything without overcharging or doing a hard upsell to a million other things. We will be using them again.
