Great article. Hawaii has taught my to balance humility with confidence and it's been a great personal and professional lesson. 
 
3. Humility -- asking for feedback.
No one does business with an untrustworthy person. Without trust, you can't broker deals, close deals, sell stuff, or come out on top.

The key takeaway? Google continues to work towards being the curator for valuable and useful content. Twitter is just another channel in the SEO mix. 
 
How Does Google Index Tweets? Our NEW Study Reveals the Answer!

Last week we learned that Google and Twitter have resumed their deal for Google to have access to Twitter's "firehose" (direct feed of tweets). That means there will be a lot more tweets indexed by Google, but probably not until some time this summer.

To set a benchmark to see how much difference that change will make, we recently analyzed over 130,000 tweets to see how many Google indexed, how long it took, and what factors most correlated with tweets that got indexed.

Introduction
Welcome! 
For context, I generally share startup, personal branding, creativity social media, marketing and branding information here, with a dash of innovation, tech.  If you're interested in any of those things, I'd truly enjoy getting to know you better on G+. 

I run a boutique marketing and branding agency specializing in startups and personalities who loves being surrounded by other creatives. 

My passions lie in helping other's create profitable brands and marketing campaigns. I use the  7 Captivation Motivations  for most of my clients. For personal brands, the Captivate marketing incubator is available by application only. 

I also consult with a select number of businesses to create  marketing programs that allow businesses to engage with their customers. What distinguishes me from the rest is  my deep understanding of what actually motivates people to take action: buy, click or share. 

I work with my clients to integrate their efforts through all their silos: PR, Sales, Customer Service etc. so they can get maximum results. 

I speak and train on using the 7 Captivation Motivations to inspire, engage and enrich marketing and internal business communications.

Personally, I am a wife, sister, daughter, friend and all around nut! I also love to cook (although I'm not always good at it) sometimes the only way to wash down my cooking is with a glass of wine or sake, so I have interests in those as well. I love to dive, especially at night. And I've been successfully, if not frequently snow skiing since I was 3.

I currently live in Los Angeles, having moved from Honolulu, Hawaii (yes, its an awesome, beautiful place to live and the people ARE great). I spent 20 years in Scottsdale, Arizona (yes, its hotter than hades there in the summer) and I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin (yes, I am still a cheese head).
