aCalendar+ 0.17.0 is pushed to Google Play - it'll take some time until it hits everyone, but after several months of implementation, designing and testing aCalendar+ now finally supports Google Tasks! And you can manage your Google Calendars. And the app starts alot faster. And you can pick attendees and the event location directly from contacts. And, and, and...

"Success! Thanks for submitting your registration application for Google I/O 2014. An email will be sent confirming your registration application to your Google account for your records.
We will randomly select applicants to receive tickets to Google I/O after the registration window closes on April 18, 2014. You will receive an email confirming your status shortly thereafter."

hopefully I'm more lucky this year...

0.16.8 out NOW! Enjoy! Now back to Google Tasks integration...

aCalendar just hit the 5 Million downloads mark in Google Play! When I first started with aCalendar about 3 years ago I didn't even remotely think of such dimensions. I know that alot of that I owe to word-of-mouth, so thanks alot for that! Danke!
Also this (and especially those user who upgraded to aCalendar+) gives me the possibility to work full time on aCalendar in the future which should speed up development a lot and bring Google Tasks (aCalendar+) and native notifications soon (please do NOT ask for concrete dates, it'll be out when it's ready).
