New on the blog!  One of the most common answers to my “what’s your biggest copywriting challenge” survey question last month was “knowing what to write about”.  If you can identify, this week’s post should help!

In it, I share some of the wisdom on the top that I’ve gleaned from smart people around the web and in my communities.  I also take you through my own 3-step process for figuring out what to write about when I get stuck myself.

Check out the post at: http://consciousintrovertsuccess.com/getting_unstuck

NEW ON THE BLOG:

Every now and then, after a really successful client project, I like to not only ask for a testimonial, but also for a chance to write a profile of the work my client and I did together.

A few weeks ago, I finished off an AMAZING project for a heart-based businessfriend client with a difference: the awesome Ava Grace from Ava Grace, VIP.  The reason she's a little different to my usual clients is the nature of her industry: she's an escort whose vision is to both bring healing to her clients, and help to heal the broken relationship our culture has with sex and sexuality.

To do that, though, she needs copy that clearly communicates what she does, while connecting with clients who might not be looking for the deeper results she creates (healers and coaches out there: know what that's like?)

Here's a quick overview of her, the work we did on her website together, and how it's made a difference in her business already: http://crystalclaritycopywriting.com/ava-profile/

New on the blog!  As part of refocussing in on my copywriting work, I’ve been wanting to set up a free community for my perfect people.

I wanted to create somewhere they could go to ask copywriting-related questions, and get support, feedback, tips and advice on writing their own copy.  Somewhere that’d not only help them write better copy, but also make the writing process quicker and easier for them.

The result is the Crystal Clear Copywriting Tribe – and this week’s post explains how it works and what you can expect when you decide to join.

New on the blog!

NEW ON THE BLOG: My UK trip has been a time of reflection and decision-making, as well as one of relaxation and fun.

One of the decisions that’s come out of the trip has been the realisation that I need to focus on one thing at a time. Here are the thought processes behind why I’ve decided to focus on my copywriting for the immediate future – and what I’m planning for Conscious Introvert Success while I do.

http://consciousintrovertsuccess.com/changes2015
The times, they are a-changing: the (short-term) future of Conscious Introvert Success My holiday in the UK has been a full – and an eye-opening – one Back at the end of April, when I was about to head off on my 6-ish-week UK trip, I had three key intentions for the holiday. I wanted to catch up...

People tend to assume that because I’m a #copywriter and a lover of language that I’ll naturally be a stickler for correct #grammar.

The truth is that I’m far more worried about core principles than I am about specific grammar rules.  Here’s why, and how ignoring what many people think of as “correct grammar” can sometimes actually make my #writing stronger…

New on the blog!

I think it was +Danielle LaPorte  who introduced me to the “It’s either ‘Hell, YES!’ or ‘No!’” concept.

It’s a test that basically involves making a decision by checking to see if the idea gives you a full-body “YES!”  If so, you do it – if not, you wait for something that does.

Earlier this year, I realised I hadn’t had a full-body “YES!” response in my business in a very long time.  At the time, I figured that meant I was doing something wrong… but what if being an #introvert means I’m just not wired to respond that way?

Let me know your thoughts – and how you make decisions in your business – over at:  http://consciousintrovertsuccess.com/hell-yes-test/
How relevant is the “It’s either ‘Hell, YES!’ or ‘No!” test for introverts? Ever heard of the “It’s either ‘Hell, YES!’ or ‘No!’” test? I think it was the awesome Danielle LaPorte who first taught me the “It’s either ‘Hell, YES!’ or ‘No!’” test. If you haven’t heard of this wee decision-making...

Um.  If I waited for "Hell, Yes!" before I did anything, I'd never do anything worth while.  (I'm a natural doubter - it's when I make myself go out of my comfort zone that good things happen to me.)

My seventh and final Fetching Fairytale for the next month is brought to you by +Tanja Gardner  of Crystal Clarity Copywriting.

... She lived in the future (well, at least by a day) in Middle Earth (aka New Zealand) and spent her days helping heart-based businessfolk all around the world to communicate with their perfect people. She spent her spare time walking around her beautiful home town, reading about kickass heroines, and dreaming about faraway worlds...

New on the blog:

Back when I first started Crystal Clarity, I created a short, fun quiz to help people figure out whether they really needed to work with a copywriter or not.

This week, I've seriously upgraded it to help you not just figure out whether you NEED to work with a copywriter, but whether you're ready to do so.

Check it out in the latest blog post: http://crystalclaritycopywriting.com/copywriter-quiz/

New on the blog!

I’ve mentioned the business focus changes I’m making over on my introvert-focussed website, but I haven’t talked about them on my copywriting blog yet.

In short, I’m pulling back significantly on the introvert coaching work I’ve been doing, and instead, concentrating my business time and energy almost exclusively here on my Crystal Clarity tribe.
Here’s a quick rundown of what specific changes I’m making, why, and what they’re likely to mean to you as a Crystal Clarity reader

New on the blog: Although I tend to focus on helping introverted business owners, I’ve long said that energy management process is relevant for all introverts: not just the ones who happen to be entrepreneurs.

Being on Lisa Avebury’s Sacred Introvert Retreat Tour has really underscored this for me. Here’s what a full day yesterday taught me (or at least reminded me of) when it comes to managing my energy outside of my business life…

Energy Management Essentials – what the Sacred Introvert Retreat tour has taught me so far This post is coming to you from the wilds of Glastonbury Folks who are signed up to my newsletter or part of my free Conscious Introvert Awesomeness community will be well aware that I’m on holiday right...

New on the blog!

I’ve written about my free online #community for #introverted businessfolk, Conscious Introvert Awesomeness (aka “The CIA”), before.

I haven’t, however, explained the guidelines for the community anywhere other than in the group itself, where I suspect they’re only visible once you’ve joined. (And let’s face it, even if you can read them from outside the group; that tiny, narrow strip on the right-hand side of the page doesn’t exactly make the unformattable text in it super-readable!)

So I’ve put together a much easier-to-read set of guidelines for you on my blog, along with a quick rundown of WHY each one’s in place.  If you’ve been wondering about joining, this might help you get clear on whether the group’s a good fit for you or not. And if you’re thinking of putting together your own group, feel free to snaffle any of my ideas that feel right to you.

Check out the #guidelines – and maybe give me your thoughts on them – at:  http://consciousintrovertsuccess.com/cia-guidelines/
What are the rules again? A quick overview of the Conscious Introvert Awesomeness guidelines I’ve talked about my free community for introverted business owners before… I first wrote about Conscious Introvert Awesomeness – or the CIA as I like to call it – just after I launched it back in June...

New on the blog!

A while back, when I was lamenting the lack of results I’ve had from putting expert advice into practice in my introvert business, the awesome +Kris Oster  asked if there was any real difference between telling someone what to write and what to wear

It was a great question that SERIOUSLY got me thinking… and my conclusions were that no, it isn’t always that different – but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

Here’s why (and where I really think the problem lies with copywriting advice)…
