I met my hubby's DNA cousin +Shannon Christmas yesterday. It was great! Thanks Shannon for the talk and maybe one day we can get closer to figuring out the DNA connection :-) #genealogy
Okay - so, not a cousin of mine, but a cousin of my daughter's. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet Shannon Christmas today as he was in town speaking at an event on African American gen...

Hello, World! Flipboard Launches on the Web http://zite.to/17cWZoa

And I'm looking forward to using it!
We smile when we think of 2015 as the year of our Web launch, but it's here: a beautiful version of Flipboard for the desktop and a major new frontier on our quest to build the world's best personal magazine. By developing for mobile first (Flipboard was originally built for the iPad in 2010), ...

Will take at least 2 years if funding is approved, as per Fox 5 NY news, but sounds interesting.

When switching themes on a site - what is the best way to ensure that pages set as "full page width" in one theme, are automatically switched to "full page width" in the new theme? I am working on a site that has 400+ pages in full width theme and would love to avoid having to manually set the template page attribute manually.  I can do SQL queries, but as I'm not extremely advanced with WP database construction I don't seem to have figured out the right query to make it work. Any thoughts? Are there any plugins that do this?

I think I need to read all of these.
Several years ago I was very enamored with all of the knowledge that is available on blogs. I couldn’t believe the wealth of information that many of my favorite blogs published (for free!) that I didn’t have easy access to anywhere else. So enamored in fact, I couldn’t believe people were...
