"What is the cost of not healing the mother wound?

The cost of not healing the mother wound is living your life indefinitely with:

A vague, persistent sense that "There's something wrong with me"
Never actualizing your potential out of fear of failure or disapproval
Having weak boundaries and an unclear sense of who you are
Not feeling worthy or capable of creating what you truly desire
Not feeling safe enough to take up space and voice your truth
Arranging your life around "not rocking the boat"
Self-sabotage when you get close to a breakthrough
Unconsciously waiting for mother's permission or approval before claiming your own life.

What's the relationship between the mother wound and the divine feminine?

There's a lot of talk these days about 'embodying the divine feminine' and being an 'awakened woman.' But the reality is that we cannot be a strong container of the power of the divine feminine if we have not yet addressed the places within us where we have felt banished and in exile from the Feminine.

Let's face it: Our first enounter with the Goddess was with our mothers. Until we have the courage to break the taboo and face the pain we have experienced in relation to our mothers, the divine feminine is another form of a fairy tale, a fantasy of rescue by a mother who is not coming. This keeps us in spiritual immaturity. We have to separate the human mother from the archetype in order to be true carriers of this energy. We have to de-construct the faulty structures within us before we can truly build new structures to hold it. Until we do this we remain stuck in a kind of limbo where our empowerment is short-lived and the only explanation for our predicament that seems to make sense is to blame ourselves.

If we avoid acknowledging the full impact of our mother's pain on our lives, we still remain to some degree, children.
Coming into full empowerment requires looking at our relationship with our mothers and having the courage to separate out our own individual beliefs, values, thoughts from hers. It requires feeling the grief of having to witness the pain our mothers endured and processing our own legitimate pain that we endured as a result. This is so challenging but it is the beginning of real freedom.
Once we feel the pain it can be transformed and it will cease creating obstacles in our lives."

"And yet in the moment, in the moment when you think to yourself, “I am having a moment,” it’s not simple at all. It’s a storm and you are tossed all about and you know it well but still think this one’s different, this is the one that takes everything down with it.

And then it’s over and the house is still standing and you still love the people you love and they still love you and another day is passing, a day we’ll never get back, a day some people would do anything to have just one more of with the one they love and miss and lost...

AND this past weekend I was led to some information on Epstein Barr virus. Apparently about 95% of the population has it and there about 60 strains. There are many stages and it has been given many names.

Now that I know it's a big part of the cause of my own sudden health struggles (and goodness, I seem to be able to track some symptoms back to my childhood now), I am the one in control of how it affects me.

It's been a huge eye opener because in 2006 I started to have panic attacks that appeared to come out of no where but was going through huge stress. That was also when I had an abscess tooth and some gut pain.

Before I made the connection this past weekend, I knew my immune system was failing, liver, kidneys, spleen and other organs not working well. Then the bump showed up on my thyroid! Because of my life long study to being a health detective of sorts, I was able to see what was working, what was depleted and what foods were triggers. There is always a body-mind-spirit connection. Staying strong mentally and spiritually have been key too.

The info that I had been recommended about 6 times before I looked at it is the research and work by Anthony Williams. *His book, that includes vital information on Epstein Barr, is called: Medical Medium. This appears to be about 30 years ahead of it's time. Apparently, our medical system can't test for the many kinds of Epstein Barr. The virus excretes a neurotoxin that causes inflammation and damage to surrounding cells.

The ah ha moment came for me when he said that pesticides and heavy metals that come from our food, vaccines, mercury fillings, store in our thyroid and that the Epstein Barr virus will attack the thyroid to feed itself, in the process it excretes a neurotoxin that can lead to mono, strep, hypo and hyper thyroid, menstrual pain, menopausal symptoms, Lyme, body aches and pains, ms, edema (swelling), ringing in ears, vertigo, migraines, depression, anxiety and the list goes on and on.

Anthony talks about how we can reduce the influence of the virus through foods (and slowly detoxing) and a few key supplements (like zinc) and live healthy and happy lives, and that in fact we want to keep some of the virus to have the antibodies so as to not catch another strain. I've posted a podcast below that literally woke me right up to a new level of self-health! It's worth looking a listen.

Please share this information with as many people as you can. Thank you. http://www.tammrabroughton.com/fresh-grooves/connecting-the-dots

And voila

2. Fights Allergies

Quercetin is a natural antihistamine and an anti-inflammatory, making it effective for naturally lowering the effects of season and food allergies, plus asthma and skin reactions. Histamines are chemicals that are released when the immune system detects an allergy or sensitivity, and they are what account for uncomfortable symptoms we face whenever the body has an allergic reaction.

Quercetin can help stabilize the release of histamines from certain immune cells, which results in decreased symptoms like coughs, watery eyes, runny noses, hives, swollen lips or tongue, and indigestion. In fact, it’s so effective that quercetin is used in ancient Chinese herbal formulas created to block allergies to certain foods (such as peanuts), known as food allergy herbal formulas. Studies show that quercetin, a natural medicine and phytochemical, is equivalent at fighting allergies as some prescription medications, all with little to no side effects. (7)...
