If you know or follow me you know that I have been living and breathing my documentary film, LIFE AFTER LIFE, for six years!
I am excited to share that we are reaching the end of filming! One of LIFE AFTER LIFE's main subjects, Harrison, is graduating from SF State with his Bachelors degree in May. This is what we've been waiting for and will conclude six years of following the men through their journey home after 21 and 30 years in prison. Three years filming inside San Quentin State Prison, and three years in the community.
This past week we launched a Kickstarter fundraising campaign to finish the film. Kickstarter is ALL or NOTHING so we must meet our goal of $30,000 by June 1 or we will not receive any of the funds. Anyone who gives $5 or more receives a reward and the ability to help produce this film. Of course, anyone who gives any amount and passes it on to their friends and networks receives my eternal gratitude.
In the Kickstarter video I tell a personal story about something that happened to me as a teenager and has been one of the driving forces and inspirations behind making the film.
Please take a look and if inspired pass on to your friends, groups and networks!
