Introduction

Taller Puertorriqueño, Inc. (Taller) is a community based cultural organization whose primary purpose is to preserve, develop and promote Puerto Rican arts and culture, grounded in the conviction that embracing one's cultural heritage is central to community empowerment.  Taller is also committed to the representation and support of other Latino cultural expressions and our common roots./El Taller Puertorriqueño es una organización cultural con su base en la comunidad cuya misión primordial es la de preservar, desarrollar y promover las expresiones artísticas y culturales puertorriqueñas, con la convicción de que envolverse con la herencia cultural individual es central a la capacitación de la comunidad.  El Taller también se compromete a la representación de calidad y al apoyo de las otras culturas latinas y nuestras raíces en común.
