Totally gross! Very poor quality food as well as health risks, will never return! I guess we missed the whole Chef Andy good years. The interior of the place is disgustingly dirty, take a peek over the counter into the kitchen. All prep counters are smeared in a kaleidoscopic array of food leftovers from the previous customers orders, the floor is also covered in leftover food and looks like it hasn't been mopped in a month. Check out there latest health violations on the Sun Sentinel. It's enough to make you spew chunks. Oh and the food sucks, frozen pizza dough, canned sauce, canned tomatoes, bad cheese, sandwich bread of low quality and burnt, tasteless frozen turkey meat, poor quality lettuce, the list just goes on and on.

Chef Andy is gone....and so is the service and food. Was there over the weekend and ordered a 16" pizza and a Michelangelo sandwich (been ordering and eating from here for over 8 years).it took about 45 mins (i was giving the new owners a break so i didnt make a bid deal about it) The sandwich was not that bad except some of the fixings being abnormally cold and the bread a lil burnt. The Pizza was a whole diff story it was severely dry, burnt and completely tasteless. I took the pizza to the lady upfront who i believe is the new owner, she really didn't try to fix the situation or care if the pizza tasted like cardboard. I was not in the mood to argue and all that so I told her i was really disappointed and that chef Andy would never treat his customers this way.....asked and paid my check right away grabbed my Polaroid photo from the wall from 7 years ago and left the nasty Pizza for her.....dnt think ill be coming back.....this place has been a hidden gem in Boca for so long...really sad to say goodbye.

The best Italian food in Boca but at the same time I feel like I'm back in New York when I'm there. They always had great food but the new management fixed the place up about two years ago. Now it's very clean with a warm inviting atmosphere and great service.

I think it's great to see all the real reviews for this place and how it really is the best Italian restaurant in Boca, which it is! Then I find really funny how there is that one review from the former owner Andy, who writes as another person and copy/paste that review on all the sites. Yelp, trip advisor, yahoo, this one, etc. saying how horrible this place is. Why is he so angry at the "new" owners? Which by the way are not so new anymore, as they've owned this place for almost 2 years now. Personally I think he's just bitter because Talia's used to be pretty good, but now it's GREAT! The food is way better, the place is actually clean now and the staff is friendly. That old show of a mean Italian behind the counter does not work in the real world where people pay good money for good food and proper service. Maybe it worked on Seinfeld with the soup natzi but it sure doesn't work in real life. I guess that is why he lost the business and the "New" (not so new anymore) owners are doing great. The place is always packed. Proof is in the pudding. I guess if I was a professionally trained chef, created a concept and my own menu, and then people with hardly any experience in the restaurant business make it better than me, I would be pretty pissed off too. Can't really blame him. I would feel like a looser too. Enough about that. The "New" Talia's, Keep up the great work and the amazing food. See you tomorrow for lunch as I do almost every day.

Great food! Best Italian food I've ever had outside of my home state of NY. HUGE portions, great taste and perfect prices. The owner took us on a tour of the place and he; along with the rest of the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and caring. Great experience! I recommend this place to anybody looking for great Italian food.

My husband and I love to cook, and when we saw this deal on TravelZoo, we were all about it! Chef Andy was very entertaining, and we not only enjoyed the food, but the experience as a whole. We made (as a group) three separate dishes which were all excellent, and a couple sauces as part of the lesson. This is the only part we wish was a little different- even though we LOVED this class, and would absolutely do it again, selfishly, we wish the class was smaller so we could get more hands on experience! :) Bring a pen so you can write down all the secrets & tips Chef shares with you!
