Not too many car brands have people writing custom apps for them. Once Tesla does publish the API, there will be some really interesting software, both for in-car use and as smartphone apps. Exciting times are ahead.
Tesla Model S owners are writing their own code, allowing the Tesla software to perform new functions not designed by the factory.

Ah I see. You meant how can the people who put up the sign know that the car is an Uber car. Not quite sure, actually.

Any Office Space fans out there? This is hilarious.

Watch Michael Bolton Take Over for 'Michael Bolton' in 'Office Space' http://blbrd.cm/XWELdV
Back in 1999 when Office Space was released, having a character named Michael Bolton was an easy potshot at the AC singer who landed 23 songs on the Hot 100 between 1983 and 1997.

Not sure I agree with the logic here. I would venture to say that most people don't pay a premium for hybrid and all-electric vehicles just to reduce their carbon footprint or lessen dependency on oil. People buy them because they do those things and also provide other tangible benefits (like not having to visit a smelly gas station every week and getting access to the HOV lanes). In some cases, people buy them only to get access to the HOV lane.

That said, +Brian Moody, you'll be happy to know that even the HOV lanes in several parts of the bay area are still slow come rush hour. :)

Full disclosure: I drive an all-electric vehicle and my wife drives a plug-in.
If you have a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle (EV), you should not be driving in the carpool or HOV lanes. Even if your home state allows you to legally drive in the carpool lane with the driver as the car's only occupant, you shouldn't do...

Gave me a time window of 4pm - 6pm, then showed up at 7:45pm (seriously?). When I called the dispatcher at 6:30pm to confirm whether someone was even coming, she threw me crazy attitude. Then, the guy showed up with no apology for being almost two hours late. To add insult to injury, he couldn't even fix the problem because he refused to investigate it because "he already knew what the problem was." After he left, I called Happy Rooter and they showed up, snaked a few different access points and fixed the problem. Save yourself some time and skip these guys.

Pretty much my go-to Korean restaurant in the Bay Area at the moment and probably as close as you'll get to NYC or LA Korean food, outside of Korea. Reasonable prices, too.

We could have gotten better pasta out of a can (and I'm not even being facetious). This place needs to try harder.

Showed up late, couldn't finish the job in one visit so had to make another appointment. Showed up late again to the second appointment. Massive amount of time waste. I'm never getting that time back, Comcast.

Can't believe this place used to be a Hobees. They did a great job with the redesign and the food is solid as well.
