Google Photos Questions - Mobile  -

I'm on iOS and I'm syncing all my 50k photos.
I manage to fix the issue of background upload, setting up the auto-unlock to never. The only BIG issue is that in one night, I uploaded 5k images.

This is going to take a while. Do you guys have the same slow upload? I need a way to speed up the upload process...

My library is also sync to iCloud, and I have all optimized photos on my iPhone.

P.S. I also tried to sync my Apple Photos Library, but I'm worry it would duplicate my photos.

That's a good idea, maybe the search was waiting for my sync to complete then. Let me know if you see more search options (people, places, things) while your upload is happening.

I uploaded about 6k photos and videos, some very large videos (4k resolution being compressed to 1080p).

...And #FORMSF14  continued this afternoon with some stellar panels and breakout workshops:

Panel: Design Education

I would definitely, totally, 100% buy everything from such a store! Leica Store in Kyoto.
This past March Leica announced the opening of a new flagship store. It sits on Hanamikoji Street in the Gion district of Kyoto, Japan. Honoring the existi

Is there any way to delete all my photos? I want to start clean, and delete all my old G+ photos.
I have 5k photos and I the only way I can delete them is to multiple select groups of them, and this would take a while...

I couldn't find any "delete all photos" or "wipe all pictures" anywhere...
Anyone?

When you click on the checkmark on top-left corner (in Windows desktop I'm assuming you're talking about), while it's checked you can hold down keyboard SHIFT and click another checkmark and it will select all photos in between the two.  So if you click on the first one (most recent) and then scroll all the way down and do SHIFT-click the last one then you can click on the trashcan icon to delete them all.

Though next the warning about how the delete action will delete the photos from all sync'ed mobile devices so perhaps ensure you have backups elsewhere (which you probably already have done since you plan to start over).

Impressive...

We've come a long way in animation and visual effects - the frame rates, the color depth and even the resolution is better than we can distinguish with our eyes today. The level of detail we can produce in our movies is nothing short of breathtaking, and indeed part of the experience of being transported to a different world with endless possibilities.

Of course, a series such as GoT took more than $200 million to make, but when technologies improve exponentially, as is the case with graphics, rendering and display, that is of little concern in the grand scheme of things. I think the next big leap in this decade will be the adaptation of these methods to Virtual Reality and developing better perception of presence.
