Android 5.1 Lollipop OTA updates coming soon to the Nvidia Shield Tablet and Shield Portable

In this case, 'soon' means in the next couple weeks, hopefully. Prepare for the latest and greatest that Android has to offer on your NVIDIA tablets. Any of you excited about this?
According to a couple forum posts, the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet and SHIELD Portable shouldn't have to wait too much longer to receive Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Google says Nexus 7 pulled from Google Store, buy the Nexus 9 instead

We wanted to say something sooner, but we were waiting for Google to make it official - the Nexus 7 (2013) is effectively discontinued. Google wants you to buy the Nexus 9 instead. Do you think there is a 2015 model of the Nexus 7 in the pipeline?

With Google confirming the change is to be permanent, you will no longer find the Nexus 7 in the Google Store. The 2013 version of the popular Android tablet has been effectively discontinued.

Acer has a few new nifty Android and Chrome OS devices coming to a store near you. Check out the new Chromebook and Android tablets then let us know, will you be grabbing one of Acer's new devices?
At a press event earlier today, Acer announced a new 15-inch Chromebook, budget-friendly Iconia One 8 tablet and a Predator gaming tablet that will be available in Q4 of this year.
