Spent 6 hours on the phone with +TurboTax tech support last night. I couldn't log into my account. The resolution? "Sorry, we cannot fix it. You'll have to file manually". Now I have additional forms to file to avoid late penalties. And hope that they recover the forms I spent 4 days preparing so that I don't have to start over from scratch.

Interestingly my wife is a writer too and I have made the same observations

When my wife talks about writing, I can see the exact processes in code. There's not a lot of difference between the two. ;)

We stopped in on the way back from a hike, very hungry. We were expecting a nice, beefy, juicy burger. What we got was a bit dry, a bit bland, and did not impress. The salad was excellent and very fresh. It's shame that the burgers just dont taste like real beef burgers, it would have been a nice place to go for burgers and salad. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Given the price, and the fact that we were not impressed with the burgers, we would not go back. There are just too many other good burger places.

I've used PacNBox for many years. Total, I've used them three times and my friend used them twice to move his residence and once to move his business. Never have we had any complaints, and the pricing is excellent. I'll continue to use these guys for as long as they keep that going!

This place is now shut down. No surprise. They tried to come across as a higher-end restaurant but the food was sub-par. The first sign was the bread, very tasteless and obvious mass-produced. The changes the restaurant management made ensured it's demise. The menu prices changed little, but the uniforms the servers wore were reminiscent of TGIFs. If I wanted TGIF service and food that tastes like it was made from TGIF, I'll go to TGIF and pay less. There are too many good choices for food in the Sacramento/Roseville area, so it came as no surprise to me that Piatti shut down.

I used to go to Taco Loco frequently. One day, while having a burrito at the bar, I pulled a 4" piece of stainless steel scrubber out of the center of the burrito. The bartender saw the whole thing and seemed shocked. He took the plate back to the kitchen and brought me another burrito. I insisted that I no longer had an appetite and appreciate it if they just took it off of my bill. The bartender told me he couldn't do that, so I spoke with the manager who refused. I would not go back to Taco Loco.

If I could give this place -1 stars, I would. Horrible experience. The service at the Cliff House was ok. Our waiter was polite and attentive. However, the hostess and the manager seemed very preoccupied even though the restaurant was not busy. We went to Cliff House for my wife's birthday dinner. She ordered the lobster. It was horribly overcooked. For $70/plate, I would really expect this dish to be perfect. Frankly, the presentation was also lacking. I feel that I could have done a much better job myself. The baked potato looked like they had simply pulled it out of the oven, sliced it in half and threw it on a plate. The vegetables were an asparagus and zucchini mix that lacked any originality. I ordered the Clams Linguine. It was piled with so much Parmesan cheese it ruined the dish. Cheese DOES NOT go with seafood, and a small amount of parm would have been fine. But there was at least a half cup sprinkled across my dish. Finally, my wife ordered dessert to go, the chocolate lava cake. About a half hour after getting back to our hotel and when she opened it she was disgusted. It was a small piece of pastry that appeared to be prepackage, and some sauce on top. The sauce was a watery berry sauce that was grainy and lacked any sort of resemblance of something a fine dining establishment would serve. It was definitely NOT chocolate lava cake. $15 for something they threw on a plate. I took on bite and we threw it in the trash. It did not even taste good. Total, with tip, our dinner came to $185. The next night we went to Perko's for dinner and spent $30. The food was far better at Perkos (no joke) I am so mad at Cliff House for screwing up my wife's 40th Birthday dinner I could spit.

Kru is my favorite sushi place in Sacramento. I have tried many, including the other popular spots. Kru has the best food, albeit a bit expensive, and great service. When I want to impress someone with sushi, I take them to Kru. I have been going since the day they opened and the quality has not diminish over the years like so many places do.This is definitely one of my top 10 in Sacramento. If you want anything better, you'll have to go to Ozumo in San Francisco :)
