From the spark of inspiration to the act of realization, TEDxSantaCruz: Activate will feature speakers and performers whose ideas sparked experiences, projects, work, or creativity that is setting in motion a new reality, igniting new connections, or energizing communities. Be part of a growing community of change-makers and thought leaders who will activate Santa Cruz on March 8, 2014, from 9 am to 5 pm and the Hotel Paradox in Santa Cruz.

Tickets are $75 for general admission and $50 for students with a valid student ID. Admission includes the conference, lunch, breaks, and a no-host reception at Solaire after the event. You can buy tickets online at http://bit.ly/tedxsc2014.

We invite you to join the TEDx SantaCruz community for a full day of exhilarating live talks, TED videos, and delicious lunch served poolside at the fabulous Hotel Paradox. We invite you to join us as we kick off TEDxSantaCruz 2014: Activate with a cocktail gathering at the Hotel Paradox. This event is free and open to the public and will feature former speakers and attendees, a chance to make a video pitch of an “idea worth spreading,” and a free taste of the TEDxSantaCruz Signature Cocktail. Those attending will get a chance to learn about the upcoming March 8, 2014 TEDxSantaCruz live event, view video highlights from previous events, and meet with others in the growing TEDxSantaCruz community.
