Financial aid helped me, but I'm white so I guess that doesn't count. He also seems to be under the mistaken impression that getting a degree means you will be successful.
Financial aid got me through school. Not an Ivy League school, but I got my degree in 3 years. And John Nichols is right, a degree doesn't make you successful - it gives you options. And one of those options is very expensive failure.
