Google Instant Including G+ Profiles

Just another reason to be utilizing G+!  Google is now displaying your connections within their instant search when they find a similar match to what your typing in the search box.

This will be a big advantage for those that have their G+ profiles filled out with relevant information and are connected to a broad range of individuals.

Currently, I'm only seeing "profiles", but imagine what this would do for businesses once (if) they incorporate G+ business pages.....

Anyone else not seeing the option to "hide" private results within Google search?
Google Removes Option to Hide Personal / Private Search Results?

Back in January I posted about how I didn't see the option to hide private results for a little while, but then it returned.  I wasn't sure if Google was testing or what.

Now, I'm not seeing the option to hide private results at all.  I looked on the web for anyone talking about seeing this as well, but couldn't find anything (other than my post in January).

I search on Google+, still nothing.  Looked in Google Help and their documentation still shows that you can hide private search results, but I'm not see the option anymore.

I wrote a post about this and how I really expected Google to allow users to filter their search results by their circles and extended circles. I did not expect them to remove the option to hide private results, only expected them to expand on the filtration options....

Maybe +Danny Sullivan ,  +Mark Traphagen , +AJ Kohn or someone else in the know could shed some light on this for me?

Google Not Displaying Personalized Search Results Option

Not sure if it was just a glitch with Google this morning or if they are testing some things, but for awhile this morning I did not get the option to show/hide my personalized results while logged in...

Has anyone else noticed this?

Google is now showing personalized meta data even when selecting to "hide personalized results".  Seems they are moving to a "blended" search that will order results using the "generic algorithm", but display social meta data from the "personalized algorithm".
Google Now Showing Personalized Meta Data in Non-Personalized Results

I was looking over some things this evening and I noticed for the first time that Google was displaying "personalized meta data" from Google+ in my "non-personalized" results.

I was logged in, but I selected the "hide personalized results", which up to this point had always hidden personalized data.

I think this is great.  Now, Google has moved on to "blended" searches where the ranking might not be affected, but they are going to show personalized meta data from Google+.

Interesting timing for me....I finally started posting information about my Google+ research and now I'm seeing something NEW, that I've not seen before....

Is anyone else seeing this behavior in their results?  Maybe +Danny Sullivan, +Rand Fishkin , +Matt Cutts ?
