Most eurosceptic parties, which often criticise EU overspending, did nothing to stop large groups from quashing greater transparency on MEPs' expenses.

Geoffrey Hinton: Portrait of the AI Scientist

According to Wikipedia: Geoffrey (Geoff) Everest Hinton FRS (born 6 December 1947) is a British-born cognitive psychologist and computer scientist, most noted for his work on artificial neural networks. He now divides his time working for Google and University of Toronto. He is the co-inventor of the backpropagation and contrastive divergence training algorithms and is an important figure in the deep learning movement.

In this well written article about a leading figure in AI, we see his biography paralleling the history of the AI over recent decades; the technologies and collaborations with top persons in the field.
Artificial intelligence research using neural networks has taken off, with a $400-million boost from Google, in part thanks to Canadian Geoffrey Hinton.

The European Parliament should give the example for the openness of its software solutions, says Giancarlo Vilella, Director General for DG ITEC, the EP’s IT department, speaking at the Document Freedom Day workshop organised on 25 March by the EP’s Greens and the European Free Alliance. “ICT is a strong tool for democracy”, the Director General says. “We aim to be the avant garde of political institutions.”

Perfect place to eat good food, until you feel like bursting! they have individual dishes, but also a special menu for "beginners", which includes many vegetarian and meat dishes. If you try that, you cannot go wrong.

You'll find probably the best pizza in Brussels. They have approx 20- 30 different ones, the dough is thin and not greasy. Since there is no real kitchen, they only serve pizzas and salad, there is no pasta or other meals. The only negative side is that u will have to wait for quite some time to get your pizza when the restaurant is full, as there is only one small fireplace for the pizzas.

We had a perfect time at this spa. The only negative part was perhaps the price with a nice lunch, we paid a 100 eur for two in total. But then again, i think it was worth it.
