Best short holiday with my best friend. Best hot rock massage. Best hot springs. Great room with balcony hot tub with natural sulphur spring water. Will be back soon. Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone.

This review is just for the hot tubs as we didn't do anything else there. My wife and I just moved to the area and visited the hot tubs last night. Very romantic and relaxed atmosphere. We had a great time--even at $13.50 per hour per person, we would do it again. The hot tubs are private with a security gate and enclosure, so you can have a romantic time there without worrying about people suddenly joining you. The water seemed clean and at a nice temp, about 102 to 103, which made it easy to remain in the tub for the full hour (plus the 15 minute grace period the front desk gave us). Not sulfur smelling and not loaded with chlorine, our tub was really pleasant. We climbed to the highest tub, and the walk is beautiful even at night with the overhanging trees (sycamore and oaks). We could also see plenty of stars clearly through the branches. Bring your own towels to save the $2 rental. I believe you can also bring food and drink, but they probably have a no glass policy. We brought drinks in plastic bottles. The stairs are a bit steep so people needing climbing assistance may want to stay on the lower levels. Reservations are recommended.

Wife & I come here every once in a while to relax & recenter ourselves. The room we just stayed in was recently painted inside & out, and it looked nice. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was courteous & kind. My only complaint is the place has become pricey over the last 15 years. I still definitely recommend.

terrible just terrible, service was so poor, the yogi instructor smelled like he hadn't taken a bath in weeks. Food service was very poor. and no one cared. Also, the changing room was ice-cold, and the girls did nothing about it. We went there to be pampered, but went away very disappointed.

This hotel has gone downhill. I have been coming here for 34 years. Hot water is turned off in the in room spa's from 11pm to 7am daily. The massage I had was OK, but my husbands was the worst he has ever had. Massuse was rude and refused to work on his lower back. My massage was mediocre at best. Save yourself a waste of time and money by getting a massage somewhere other than this resort. Also, I had a broken foot. They would not give me a room on ground level even though I checked in early on a Thursday! They did give me great service in the electric cart taking me to and from my massage. Too bad the massage was so poor. Happy Birthday to me, not a good way to spend $400 for a massage and room!
